Silimarity : Ajinkya Rahane and Dravid

The good news is Ajinkya Rahane is going to lead the 'Men in Blue' for Zimbabwe Tour. The BCCI has finally showed signs of great acumen by not cancelling the tour to Zimbabwe and selected a new squad by giving the much needed 'fatigue' break to MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, R Ashwin, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Umesh Yadav and Suresh Raina. In Dhoni's absence Rahane has been chosen as the captain for the proposed three ODIs and two T20Is. A power called Rahane, India's middle order mainstay, who's been mentored by one of the cricket greats Rahul Dravid, will now project his captaincy skills. Surely Dravid has passed on his knowledge and experience to Rahane and now it's time for the latter to make him proud. Rahane's controlled temperament that never blows out even under the pressure of the challenges, the shot selection he makes, well-nigh every single act of Rahane reminds us of the great Rahul Dravid.

Here are eight pictures that caught my eye, without any doubt they clearly shows that Rahane is Rahul Dravid's doppelganger.

1) We've grew up watching Rahul Dravid celebrating his Test centuries and now here's Rahane doing it right.

2) Raise your bat like Dravid used to. Rahane nailed it again!

3) Below is a jaw-dropping picture of Rahane and his Guru.

4) The one on the left is Dravid and the one on the right is Rahane.  Look twice before you decide.

5) This isn't a mirror image.

6) Because this love is forever.

7) You must have seen 'that's my son' memes, well here's another one. Match found.

8) And Rahane is continuing Dravid's legacy. The Wall stands tall. Jersey number 19, always and forever. #Dravid
